Malto-Dextrin Powder (MDP) is a white hygroscopic powder, moderately sweet in taste. It is produced by partial hydrolysis of starch by an enzymmatic process. It is the simplest form of sugar. It has a soft mouth feel and is easily digested. It finds extensive application in Infant Foods, Confectionary, Beverages, Bakery and Dairy industry.
