It is well known that majority of starch and its derivatives are manufactured by processing feedstock such as Maize, Tapioca or wheat with Maize being the most widely used raw material. The conventional method to manufacture Starch and Starch Derivatives such as Liquid Glucose, High Maltose Syrup and Maltodextrin Powder prevailing in the country is to process starch either by acid or Enzyme process with source of starch being Maize, Tapioca or Wheat. This is a very time-consuming as well as an expensive process.

Midas Naturals utilises unique Enzyme based technology as opposed to conventional technology being utilised currently for making the products from grains. The technology is aimed at successfully using a variety of agro-based grains (Maize / Rice / Wheat etc.) to improve project economics and ensuring sustainability in production. 

Although it has the technical capability to process any type of grain in its state-of-the-art DCS based plant, Midas Naturals currently utilises Rice as feedstock for the production of Sweeteners. The grain is sorted and unwanted by-products are removed through a variety of mechanical processes. This ensures that only the consistent quality of grain is fed to the plant as feedstock at all times.
